The Tepic restaurant was established in 2008 in the Madrid neighbourhood of Chueca. We decided to create an ambience for the restaurant with a design that does not conform to the stereotypes and clichés, but has the spirit of offering authentic traditional Mexican cuisine.
In our location in Calle Ayala, in the heart of the neighbourhood of Salamanca, we wish to enhance our project further, once again opting for authenticity and taking the utmost care in creating our dishes.
It offers a restaurant-mezcal bar concept with high tables in an impeccable setting. It has a typical Mexican bar which serves an extensive collection of more than sixty bottles of tequila and mezcal, and a wide variety of cocktails and mixers made with the leading brands. The full Tepic menu is served at the bar.
Long tables for large celebrations or smaller ones for more intimate gatherings and romantic moments. It recreates a natural ambience with more than 200 cactuses, mirrors and shades of white which transport you away from your daily stress and immerse you in a Mexican oasis in the centre of Madrid.
Since it was established, Tepic has brought authenticity to its dishes so as to represent all of the personality and flavour of Mexican cuisine. The most authentic raw materials to create our dishes, such as chillies, jicama, epazote or Mexican tomatoes now grow in a vegetable garden in Ávila owned by the restaurant.
